Fifth Graders Dance Around the World
When the weather turns cold and students spend more time indoors, Belgrade Central’s very own Mrs. Paradis brings extra energy and movement into her music classes. One of her favorite ways to keep students active and engaged is by teaching traditional folk dances.
Through lively, multi-step routines set to traditional music from countries such as Russia, France, and the United States, fifth graders partner up and learn the joy of coordinated movement and cultural expression. The classroom quickly fills with rhythm, teamwork, and plenty of laughter.
