Movement in an Art Masterpiece
This beautiful bird mask was created by fourth grader, Cora Gagne, in art class at Belgrade Central School. Made from a cereal box and painted with tempera paint, the dazzling mask delights the eye with color and animation! Cora explained that when she set the beak into the space she’d cut for it, that the beak moved! ” I liked that movement,” Cora said. She explained that she figured out how to keep the animation by attaching a hinge made out of toothpicks in the back of the mask. #WeAreRSU18
