100 Days of Preschool
Friday, March 22nd was Belgrade Central’s 100th day of preschool! These young students don’t go to school on Mondays, so their number of school days are different from the rest of the grade levels. The children loved celebrating their 100th day of learning! Students were encouraged to bring in 100 items that could fit in a gallon sized Ziplock bag. They had collections of 100 pennies, paperclips, beads, Pez candies, paper butterflies, pom poms, M&Ms, cereal, and even cupcake liners! Students compared which collection of 100 items would weigh more using balance beams to check their predictions. All of their stations on this special day included 100 items such as 100 dinosaurs, 100 unifix cubes, 100 legos, and 100 stamps. The children’s favorite station was stacking 100 cups! They all tried to make the biggest tower possible. Mr. Clark even participated! The students created crowns that they proudly wore throughout the school. They also read a 100 Day book and poem as well as incorporated 100 Day fitness fun! At the end of the day, everyone had some amazing trail mix that the parents generously donated. It was a fun day for Belgrade Central’s amazing PreK program! #WeAreRSU18
