BCS Running Club
The BCS Fall Running Club has begun and has 93 students in grades 1st-5th registered which represents half of the eligible student population. There are also 10 teachers/staff members and two community members registered.
Students and adults wear badges that hold their QR codes that are scanned each lap and used to keep track of current mileage. On the first day, we ran 160 miles!
The club is meeting just a couple more times this fall: October 29th and November 1st. Students and families are encouraged to attend the upcoming “Dashing for Drumsticks” Fun Run/5K/10K on Saturday, Nov.17th starting at 8:00 am at Messalonskee High School.
